Ella-Lee Lucille Hammons, 23 months, passed away Thursday, Febuary 23, 2017. Ella-Lee was born in Indianapolis on March 26, 2015 to John and Ashley (Daudy) Hammons. She was a vibrant girl, with a beautiful smile, golden curls, and blue eyes. She was very friendly. She loved her family. She enjoyed playing with her brother and her many cousins. She loved talking with her family on Facetime, particularly her Aunt Shell, in addition to spending any time she could with her and her husband, Jerald. She loved spending time with her Aunt KK as well. She liked to mimic people and her favorite things to say were "Hey Girl" and "You a bad baby". She was a daddy's girl, and her favorite thing of all was playing with her dad. She thought everything he did, she could do, and she would often copy him. She liked to clean, and playing with dogs. She would often try to ride them, convinced they were Ella-sized steads for her.
Ella-Lee is survived by her parents, Ashley and John Hammons; her siblings Bianca, Natalie, and John Hammons II; her grandparents Tamarra and Mike Fisher, Jeff Daudy, Paula Reddy, and Billy and Karen Cook; her great-grandmother Ella Goad; many aunts and uncles, including Uncle Jerald & Aunt Shell Reddy, and Aunt Kristy "KK" (Daudy) Parker; and many cousins who loved her dearly. Ella-Lee is preceded in passing by her twin sisters Heaven-Lee and Serenity Hammons; and her great-grandparents Lucille Daudy, Linda Lowe, and Howard Frederick Jines Sr..
Funeral Services for Ella-Lee will be 1 PM, Thursday, March 2, 2017 at House of Victory Church. Visitation will be from 11 AM until the hour of service. Burial will follow at New Crown Cemetery.
