Charles Edward Fishburn, 78, of Indianapolis passed away Thursday, February 16, 2017.  Charles was born on January 18, 1939 in Nashville, TN to the late Clyde Aubrey and Oler (Cline) Fishburn.  Charles was the kindest, most forgiving, most generous person you could ever hope to meet.  He would help anyone at anytime for any reason, he cared deeply about people.  He was a big kid at heart, and never slowed down.  He was a great friend, and a great family man.  He loved being a dad, a grandpa, and a great-grandpa.  

Charles is survived by his companion of 15 years, Lisa Wade, his son, Charles (Amanda) Clem; his grandchildren, Jeremy Murphy, Shane Muns, Charles Clem, Courtney Muns, Nathaniel Clem, Tyler Clem, Morgan Clem, and Madison Clem; his great-grandchildren Shane Howard and Braiden Howard; his siblings Clyde Junior Fishborn, Louise (Fishburn) Saloh, Linda (Fishburn) Copeland, and Joyce (Fishburn) Fulton; and many nieces and nephews.

Services for Charles will be Monday, February 20, 2017 at Fountain Square Cremation & Funeral Services.  Visitation will be from 3 PM until the hour of Service.  Military Honors will follow.
