Jimmy was an inspiration to me & when my son Jeremy Elliott passed away 4/13/17 I Brought his ashes to Indianapolis for a memorial service with my family & friends. I met Jimmy when I went to visit the cross display & he gave me ideas & encouragement to start my own movement here in Texas & I did (MAH-Mothers Against Heroin) I am very proud to have met this Angel of GOD. Jimmy was the most passionate man towards addicts & life in general that I have ever met. The world has lost a great soul. Jimmy you will be greatly missed by all who have known you. Though I never had the opportunity to meet him, I was aware of the impressive and impossible work he was doing along with those he led in The Cross Out Heroin and Meth campaigns. Impossible only because of the growing nature of the problem. Impressive because of the heart he had for cleaning up neighborhoods from the drug epidemic while caring for the souls of those who were trying to break their addiction. I could not believe the number of people whose lives he and his family have touched as they help the addicts instead of condemning them. He will be missed but he is not gone as long as his family and friends continue holding him in their hearts. He left behind a legacy through his family, through his friends and all of the lives he touched. He lives on through the lives of those he touched. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you in your time of loss and sorrow. We always would like more time with our loved ones, but not if it means they continue to be in pain and suffering. He is safe in the arms of the Lord now. May the Holy Spirit comfort you and surround you with love and support in the days ahead. God bless you.
