William "Bill" Anthony LeClaire, 65, of Indianapolis, formerly of St. Louis, Missouri, passed away on April 2, 2021.
Bill was born in St. Louis, MO, on December 21, 1955. Bill was a hard worker, there was very little that could hold him back. He never missed work a day in his life until his strokes, and even then, the day after he got up and went to work like nothing happened. He was very prim and proper until you convinced him to let loose, and then he was a lot of fun. He was a character, he liked to joke around, and when he was like that, never ever call him on a challenge, because you would not come out victorious against him. Even when he was on the teasing end, he was a good sport though. Bill was stubborn, and if he didn't want to do something, no force on heaven nor Earth could make him. When it came to his grandchildren he was a soft touch. He adored them, and loved loved loved being grandpa. Before his health prevented it, he loved having the grandkids spend the night and have cookouts with him and his wife, Tamara. His unique spirit will be missed.
Bill is survived by his wife, Tamara Looney; his sons William II and Jeff (his wife, Paris); his stepchildren Angela (Harry) and Keith (Danni); his grandchildren Alliya, Jayden, William III, Nate, Harry III, Chevelle, Dominque, Brittany, Zachary, and Brendon; his sister Joyce (her husband Robert); his sister-in-law Margaret; and many friends.
Bill is preceded in passing by his parents and his brothers Harold "Lanny" and Patrick.
Services for Bill will be 6 PM, Friday, April 9, 2021 at Fountain Square Cremation & Funeral Services. Visitation will be from 3 PM until the hour of service.
