William Howard (Bill) Loyd

William "Bill" Howard Loyd, 60, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 25, 2021 at his Indianapolis residence. He was born on Friday, November 10, 1961 in Indianapolis to the late Raymond H. and Ethel Mae (Bartley) Loyd.

Bill was a member of Life Journey Church, Indianapolis. For several years, he worked in food service at the Indianapolis Children's Museum. He loved to travel, especially to Europe. Bill would sit and watch tv, catching up on the details of the daily soap operas. An animal lover, he took considerable pride in his dogs. His family considered him to be a great uncle to his nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Bill is survived by his life partner of over 30 years, Thomas R. Stewart of Indianapolis; brother, Waymond E. (Vickie) Loyd of Indianapolis; sister, Sandy Higgs of Indianapolis; several nieces and nephews and several great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by brothers, Jessie Loyd and Ronnie Loyd, and sister, Sue Bingham.
