William Earl Dennison IV

William "Billy" Earl Dennison IV, 44, of Indianapolis, formerly of North Carolina, passed away on March 8, 2021. 

Bill was born in Hickory, North Carolina, on April 15, 1976, to Barbara (Jones) Woodruff. He loved being outside, and his career was pouring concrete. He was a hard worker, with an admirable work ethic. Despite his name, Billy was wild and one of a kind.  He also enjoyed working on cars, fishing, and camping. He was known as a bit of a charmer and a lady's man, so camping often had duel meanings.  Billy loved trucks and never drove anything else. He had heart, and was the sort of man who would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it.  Billy was well loved, and very close with his family.  When it came to his siblings, he had their backs regardless of the situation, and they always went to bat for him in turn.  He was close with his son.  Billy was a prankster and enjoyed messing with people. One time at Kentucky Kingdom he tricked his son into standing next to a water ride while he retreated behind the splash shield to get him soaked.  That's a true summary of him, caring, fun, with a bit of deviousness to keep things interesting.  He will be greatly missed, but is finally reunited with his mother and brother at Heaven's Gate. 

Billy is survived by his son, William V.; his sisters Patricia Woodruff and Angelia (Paul Jr) Bach; his brothers Don Woodruff II and William Crowe; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Billy is preceded in passing by his mother Barbara Woodruff; his father Don Woodruff; and his brother Steven.

Funeral Services for Billy will be 2 PM, Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at Fountain Square Cremation & Funeral Services. Visitation will be from 11 AM until the hour of service.
