Wendy Rene (Beauchamp) Meece

Wendy Rene (Beauchamp) Meece, 49, of Indianapolis, IN passed away on April 10, 2021.

Wendy was born in Indianapolis, IN to Diana Gipson on October 5, 1971.  It's hard to describe someone so wonderful and complex.  Wendy loved to travel, she had wanderlust.  She was a phone addict and hated the cold.  She did everything she could to avoid cooking, including making her children do it for her.  Her favorite food was crab legs, and she was notorious for stuffing her face with cookies, photo evidence and all.  She was stubborn, and lord help whoever made her dig in her heels, because that wouldn't end in their favor.  She collected jewelry like a magpie, and even though she had 5 wedding sets, when she was out she was always looking at more. Wendy was always one to follow her own rules and definitely spoke her mind.  She never left any doubt in anyone's mind how much she cared about them...or didn't. 

Wendy had a big heart, she genuinely cared about everyone. She was the type of person who would give someone the shirt off her back, and in a few instances, she did just that.  She was a sweet person to be around, and funny.  She loved making others laugh.  Wendy was extremely close with her kids, and she herself was a kid at heart.  She was forever stealing her Daughter Cheyenne's shoes.  Wendy loved being grandma and spending as much time with her grandkids as she could.  She was a strong woman, who fought more than her share of demons, but always made sure to shower those she cared about with her love. And while she will be greatly missed here on Earth, at least she is finally at peace and with her son Paul, in the arms of the Angels. 

Wendy is survived by her daughter Cheyenne; her mother Diana Gipson; her fiance Derick Jarrett; her Double X and best friend Danny Brown; her grandchildren Caden, Mason, Joshua, Aubrey, Audrey, Jules, Ali, Selena, Brayden, and River; her sister Tammy Beauchamp; and her brothers Andy Beauchamp and Matt Woods. 

Wendy is preceded in passing by her son Paul Beauchamp.

Services for Wendy will be 7 PM, Friday, April 16, 2021 at Fountain Square Cremation & Funeral Services. Visitation will be from 3 PM until the hour of service.
