In Loving Memory of
Wayne Edward Haynes, 57, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on March 5, 2026, in his hometown. He was born on October 16, 1968, in Indianapolis.
Wayne was a graduate of Warren Central High School and later pursued a career as an electrician. His dedication to his work was evident to all who knew him. Beyond his profession, Wayne embraced life with enthusiasm and joy. He enjoyed playing poker, golfing, darts, bowling, pool, and fishing. Known as the life of the party, Wayne’s outgoing personality and adventurous spirit left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
Wayne was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Priscilla and Freddie Haynes. He is survived by his two sisters, Tresa (Tim) Haynes Quick and Tina Coffin; his cherished daughter, Kelsey Haynes; his grandson, Brantley Haynes; and Melodie Clark, the mother of his daughter, who brought immense joy to his life. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews who held a special place in his heart. His loyal dog and best friend, Koda, was a constant companion who brought him comfort and companionship.
Wayne’s love for his family was boundless. Despite facing health challenges throughout his life, he remained strong and resilient. His determination never wavered when it came to spending time with his loved ones—especially his grandson, nieces, and nephews, whom he adored as if they were his own children. Wayne’s heart of gold shone brightly in the way he cared for others and always looked out for those around him.
Those who knew Wayne will remember him as a true “momma’s boy” at heart—a reflection of the deep bond he shared with his late mother. His adventurous nature may have been nerve-wracking at times for those close to him, but it was also a testament to his zest for life and fearless spirit when embracing new experiences.
Wayne’s strength through adversity was inspiring to all who witnessed it. He overcame countless challenges with unwavering courage and determination. His legacy is one of love, resilience, and an unyielding commitment to those he held dear.
Family and friends are welcome to visit on Friday, March 13, 2026 at Fountain Square Cremation and Funeral Services from 1:00 PM until the hour of the service celebrating his life at 3:00 PM
