Virginia "Ginny" Kay Spears

Virginia "Ginny" Kay Spears, 68, of Indianapolis, passed away on August 16, 2021.

Ginny was born in Indianapolis, IN on August 11, 1953 to Randall Mayfield and Nellie Reeves. Ginny was the type of person to always be smiling, she never complained.  She was a selfless woman who was very content with her life and not at all materialistic.  She loved animals more than people, and her cats were her babies.  She liked the show Big Brother and being outdoors.  Her favorite color was purple and she adored being a grandmother.  She was a Godly woman with a strong faith, she was always reading her Bible.

Ginny is survived by her children Michael Spears and Holly (Albert Louis Jr) Lewis; her grandchildren Sebastian, Austin, Kiah, Shane, Breeanna, Darius, Desmond, Dasia, and Dayona; and her great-grandchildren Levi, Nova, Aurora, SJ, and Joziah.

Ginny is preceded in passing by her father Randall Mayfield; her mother Nellie Reeves; her son Shane; and her grandson Damien. 

Funeral Services for Ginny will be 4 PM, Monday, August 23, 2021 at Fountain Square Cremation & Funeral Services. Visitation will be from 2 PM until the hour of service.
