Virginia Lee Helton, a beloved soul with a heart of gold, passed away peacefully on June 16, 2023. Born in Corbin, KY on August 18, 1937, to Herbert Roy Mynk and Mary Jane Moses Mynk, Virginia's life was defined by her love for her family and her unwavering kindness.
Virginia's heart of gold was evident in her interactions with others. Her kind and gentle nature touched the lives of those around her, leaving a lasting impression of warmth and compassion. She possessed a sweet soul and had a genuine love for people. Her acts of kindness and selflessness were a reflection of the beautiful person she was.
A good sense of humor was one of Virginia's endearing qualities. She could find laughter in the simplest of moments and was always a good sport. Her ability to see the lighter side of life brought joy to those who had the privilege of sharing in her company.
Above all, Virginia cherished her family. They were the center of her universe, and her love for them knew no bounds. She found solace and happiness in their presence, creating cherished memories and deepening the bonds that held them together.

Virginia is survived by her children Susan (James Baumann) Helton, Deborah (Thomas) Baumann, Nancy (Troy Jr) Davis, Lisa (Michael) Lee, and Willis Helton Jr; her brothers Joseph Mynk of Plano, TX and Michael Mynk of Philadelphia, MS; 19 grandchildren, Brandy, Sherry, Jonathon, Sara, Cari, Jamie, Jennifer, Nicole, Ashley, Laura Michelle, Michael, Elijah, Addison, Stephanie, Joshua, Michaela, Willis Andrew, Faith, and Derrick; and 36 great-grandchildren.
Virginia is preceded in passing by her husband Willis Helton Sr; her parents Herbert and Mary Mynk; her sons Jeffrey Helton and Michael Helton; her grandchildren Jeremy Helton and Troy Davis III; and her siblings William Mynk, Larry Mynk, Charles Mynk, Wilma Ingram, Martha Gertrude Konieczki, Allen Mynk, and Dennis Mynk.
