Victoria "Vikki" Marie (Cowan) Matney

Victoria “Vikki” Marie Matney, 26, of Indianapolis, passed away on May 2, 2025.

Vikki was born in Indianapolis, IN on November 5, 1998, to Sylvia Cowan and Benjamin Brown. She absolutely loved the outdoors—whether it was walking along the canal, fishing, or camping, she was always happiest outside.

Despite her love for nature, Vikki was a girlie girl at heart. She could spend hours perfecting her hair and makeup, and if she didn’t have time to finish before heading out, she’d be touching up her eyeliner while holding a fishing pole.

A true music lover with eclectic taste, Vikki brought fun and light wherever she went. She was carefree, full of life, and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Vikki is survived by her husband Robert; her children Alex and Iris; her father Benjamin Brown; mother Sylvia Cowan; siblings Portia and Jameson Brown; niece Anastia Garner; nephew Eli Garner; and countless friends.

She is preceded in passing by her brother Jonathan Cowan.
