Ula Virginia Hall, beloved daughter of George Washington Hall and Lucy Stamper Hall, was born on January 11, 1950, in Welch, West Virginia. Ula was known to family and close friends as Jenny. She passed away on November 20, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving behind a legacy that will forever be cherished.
Ula was a dedicated and loving mother to her only child, Norma. Throughout her life, Ula put her family first, always ensuring their happiness and well-being. She shared a special bond with Norma, and their love and support for each other knew no bounds.
Education played a significant role in Ula's life, and she valued attaining knowledge and continuous growth. Ula completed her high school education at Welch High School.
Displaying great determination and ambition, she furthered her studies earning a college degree that opened doors to a career as an accountant. Professionally, Ula found fulfillment in her two decades of service to the Indiana Department of Transportation. Her dedication, work ethic, and reliability were recognized by colleagues and superiors alike. Ula's commitment to her job allowed her to make a meaningful impact in her community, leaving a lasting impression on all those she encountered.
The memories and lessons she shared with her loved ones will forever remain in their hearts. Ula's unwavering love, kind spirit, and generous nature will live on through those who had the privilege of knowing her.
Ula is survived by her daughter, Norma. She was preceded in death by her parents, along with two brothers, Virgil and Norman, and two sisters, Lena and Phyllis. Per her wishes, she will be cremated and her ashes scattered in West Virginia, her childhood home. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
