Trina Marie Haley

Trina Marie Haley, 50, passed away on June 10, 2024. Born on July 28, 1973, in Indianapolis, IN, to William C. Dorris and Naomie E. (York) O'Brien, Trina lived a life marked by strength and generosity.

A true warrior, Trina was a dependable provider and a staunch defender of those she loved, never one to hesitate throwing hands if needed. She had a heart of gold, always willing to offer her home to anyone in need. Her sense of humor was legendary, and she took great delight in making people laugh, even if it meant being the clown. Trina was known for her stubborn streak, and lord help you if you wanted her to do something she didn’t want to do, because no one else would. Above all, her daughter and grandchildren were her pride and joy and she loved them with every fiber of her being.

Trina’s departure leaves a profound void. She is survived by her children: Brittany, Michael, Joshua, and bonus daughter Terra; her grandchildren: Maleyna, Brayden, Jesonny, Jasiah, Saveigha, Cayden, Bentley, Braxton, and Chase; her siblings: Fannie, Billy, Rebecca, Crystal, William, Robert, and Charlie; and a large extended family of nieces, nephews, and friends who became family.

She is reunited in death with her father, William C. Dorris; her mother, Naomie E. O'Brien; and her husband, Nathan Haley. Trina's spirit and love will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her.
