Tommy Ray Casey Jr

Tommy Ray Casey Jr., age 54, tragically gained his wings on March 29,2022 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Tommy went by the nickname Tucker to some. He was born on February 21,1968 in Springfield, Tennessee to Tommy “Ray” and Margie “Sue” (Castelow) Casey.

Growing up Tommy enjoyed fishing, skating, getting his hands dirty, and working on cars. His career was being a diesel mechanic and he loved everything about it.

He had five children who he’s survived by Kara Sue Casey, Jacob Ray Casey, Kaylee Dawn Casey, Jaylin Ryan Casey, Jayce Denton Casey, and a step daughter who he loved from day one Kenzie Lynn Thomas. He is also survived by both of his parents Ray and Sue Casey Two sisters Melissa (Casey) Comer (Toby) and Renae (Casey) Graham (Jeff) and a brother Stephen Hedge, and many nieces and nephews. He had five grandbabies who held the most special place in his heart. Chassadee Casey, Jaxson Longwith, Ilyannah Casey, Braylee Casey, and Abigail White. He called them papaws babies.

Tommy had a special kind of love for all of his kids and family. He had his own language that he made up and you just knew what he meant. He was a nomad and would say “keep on trucking” as he moved throughout his life. He settled down in Indianapolis, Indiana Those words will be passed on through his legacies. He loved to aggravate and you just knew that was him showing how much he loved you!

He enjoyed in his adult life working on cars, dancing, music, and walking around finding his treasures. Tommy was a unique beautiful soul and He will forever be in our hearts and missed by many.

Services will be 5 PM, Saturday April 30, 2022 at Fountain Square Cremation & Funeral Services. Visitation will be from 2 PM until the hour of service, with food and fellowship following services until 8 PM at the funeral home.
