Tina Marie (Rutherford) Jeffers

Tina Marie Jeffers, 64, of Indianapolis, passed away on Monday, July 26, 2021.

Tina was born in Indianapolis, IN on February 22, 1957 to Jack and Frances (Cain) Rutherford.  She was a CNA for many years.  Tina was ornery, stubborn, and always spoke her mind, no matter who it was to or who it was about.  Her favorite response if you challenged her on it was " I'll say what I want, you're not my daddy."  She was a feisty one who loved her food stamps and her purse, Lord help you if you messed with either.  She was all hard edges and a strong woman, but at the end of the day, she had a good heart and loved her family. 

Tina is survived by her children Orvillie Rutherford, Michael (Amanda) Russell, Brandy Dunbar, and Steven (Veronica) Dunbar; her grandchildren Malia, Makayla, Dakota, McKenzee, Desean, Desiray, Daijah, Dayna, Gavin, Kaylee, and George; her great-grandson Carter; her siblings Melissa, Jerry, and Danny; her baby daddy Jerry Dunbar; and many nieces and nephews.

Tina is preceded in passing by her parents, Jack and Frances Rutherford; her husband Rodger Jeffers; her daughter Amanda Russell; and her siblings Jack, Joe, Linda, and Frances.

Services for Tina will be 7 PM, Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at Fountain Square Cremation & Funeral Services. Visitation will be from 2 PM until the hour of service.
