Tammy Sue (Dishman) Salyers

Tammy Sue (Dishman) Salyers, 60, passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family on August 3, 2025.

Tammy was a music lover, a talented cake baker, a Jeopardy wiz, an awesome mom, and a hardheaded fighter. She loved Halloween, concerts, Harley-Davidson, and watching Deadwood.

Left to cherish her memory is the love of her life, Victor Salyers; children, Derek Dishman, Steven Dishman (Jessie), Brian Brennen, Janet Chergou, and Johnathan Stewart (Barb); brothers, Carson Purvis and James Purvis (Susanna); sister, Carla Purvis; 13 Grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, David Purvis and Emma Dishman. 

Funeral service will be held 2:30pm Friday, August 8, 2025, at Foursquare Gospel Church, 3200 South 14th Street, New Castle, Indiana, with burial to follow in Circle Grove Cemetery in Spiceland. Visitation will be held at the church from Noon until time of service.
