Tamara "Tammy" Renea Mason

Tamara "Tammy" Renea Mason, 24, of Indianapolis, passed away on May 22, 2022.

Tammy was born in Indianapolis, IN on September 7, 1997 to Thomas "Tommy" Mason and Amanda Ryan.  Tammy was strong willed and opinionated, she never left any doubt to anyone how she felt.   She was a fantastic softball player, and that focus translated into her everyday life.  She dedicated her life to her family.  She was always taking her son and nieces and nephews places, she always put them first.  She was very close to her siblings, and those she considered a sibling like Paityn. Tammy was bright and fun with a smile that lit up the room and a beautiful laugh.  She was an outstanding person and fun to be around.  Tammy journaled in her spare time, and had 7 she rotated through.  She was the self-appointed Red Bull Drinking TV Queen.  She will be greatly missed.

Tammy is survived by her son, Kayden; her fiance Kevin Gavarrete; her mother Amanda Ryan; her father Thomas "Tommy" Mason; father figure William "Bill" Wright; mother figure Mama Chelle; her siblings Stacy Taylor, Danielle Maggard, Mariah (Zachary Puckett) Mason, and Thomas (Paityn) Mason; brother-in-law Tony (Morgan) Gavarrete; her grandmothers Vickie Ryan and Marlene Mason; aunt Heidi; many nieces and nephews; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family.

Services for Tammy will be 12 PM, Noon, June 8, 2022 at Fountain Square Cremation & Funeral Services. Visitation will be from 4-8 PM, Tuesday, June 7, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Floral Park.
