Sureece “Reece” Shontay Jeffers, 48, passed away on June 6, 2024.
Reece was born in Indianapolis, IN on September 19, 1975 to Pamela “Diane” Bonilla and Greg Hayden. Reece was wicked smart and worked hard to get her LPN from Brown Mackie College. She worked as a nurse for many years, a career that suited her caring and dedicated nature perfectly, before her health took a turn.
Reece was beautiful, in form and in person. She was unwaveringly kind and always there when you needed her. She was a strong woman who would make what she wanted to happen, happen. She worked hard to provide for her daughters and always put them first. She was a truly great mom, and then her grandchildren came along and expanded her heart that much more.
Reece loved hanging out with her friends and having fun, especially with her cousin Melissa, whom was like an extra sister, and her two best friends Beverly and Tiffany. She was stubborn as hell and often butted heads with Beverly, being both Virgos, but they never stayed sore long and were quick to make up.
The world is a little darker with her passing, and she will be greatly missed.
Reece is survived by her daughters Shontay and Kimora; her grandchildren Brandon Scott Beckham, Diamond Diane Marie, and 2 more on the way; her father Greg Hayden; her siblings Timmy, Appolonia, Salvador, Contessa, all Bonillas and De'Wayne Hayden; the father of her children, Richard Williamson; goddaughter Destinie Lagle; cousin Melissa Jeffers; best friends Beverly Smith and Tiffany Turner; many nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends.
Reece is preceded in passing by her mother Pamela “Diane” Bonilla; her father John Bonilla Sr; her brother John Bonilla Jr;
