Steven "Steve" Ray Fowler, age 29, of Indianapolis, and formerly of Lincoln, Nebraska, passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2023. He was born in Lincoln, Nebraska, the beloved son of Jill Raney and Clinton Fowler.
Steve was a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), a career he was passionate about. He found immense fulfillment in caring for people and brightening their lives.
One of Steve's most notable passions was his deep love for the King of Rock 'n' Roll, Elvis Presley. He was such an ardent fan that he was known to frequently call the radio station, so much so that he actually got blocked. Steve also held a special place in his heart for the music of Jerry Lee Lewis. He shared his passion for music with his family and friends, creating wonderful memories together.
Steve was an aficionado of horror movies, a love he passed on to his sons. His enthusiasm for the genre was infectious, and he made watching these films a cherished family activity.
Above all, Steve's greatest love and joy in life were his children, Steven "Brentley" and Presley. They were his everything, and his devotion to them knew no bounds.
Steve is survived by his parents, Clinton Fowler and Jill Raney, his beloved children, Brentley and Presley, as well as his siblings, Clinton, Jim, Jorge, and Chassitey. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Clinton III, June, Easton, Axel, Sophia, Chloe, Jimmy II, AJ, and Alono, along with several extended family members.
Private services will be held to honor Steve's memory, allowing his loved ones to share their grief and celebrate the life of a man who left an indelible mark on the hearts of those who knew him. Steve will be deeply missed, but his love, passion, and caring spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him.
