Sheila Kay Brown, 55, of Fountain Square passed away on September 8, 2020.
Sheila was born on August 1, 1965 in Indianapolis, IN to Bill and Helen (Hicks) Brown. Sheila was one of a kind. She a HellRaising ways, a Warriors spirit, and a kind and loving heart. She was never one to be pinned down and she was always herself. She was strong-willed and stubborn, a true spitfire. At the same time she was thoughtful and generous with her loved ones. She had a wonderful sense of humor and loved jokes. She was a local Fountain Square gal, and very proud of her roots. She knew everyone, and was a friend to all. She was compassionate and had a quality that drew people to her. She was the life of the party, but always made sure others were taken care of. Sheila enjoyed music and dancing to country and classic rock She will be greatly missed.
Sheila is survived by her son Anthony (Shannon) De Wester; her grandchildren Alexia De Wester, Noah Wills De Wester, and Lola Eaton; her significant other Ronald Schultz; her siblings Keela Lacey, Brenda Rigdon, Debbie Rigdon, Lindall Brown, Darlene Russell, and Terry Brown; and many nieces and nephews.
Sheila is preceded in passing by her parents Bill and Helen Brown; her brother Steve Brown; and her sister Beverly Brown.
Funeral Services for Sheila will be 1 PM, Monday, September 14, 2020 at Fountain Square Cremation & Funeral Services. Visitation will be from 11 AM until the hour of service. Burial will follow at New Crown Cemetery.
