Shanda Flora Dick, 41, of Indianapolis, formerly of Cincinnati, OH passed away on January 30, 2020.
Shanda was born in Cincinnati, OH on October 21, 1978 to Kathy Campbell. She was one of a kind, a real wild one. She was not the person you wanted to make mad, ever. Despite her feisty temper, she had a heart of gold. Shanda loved her family, and her granddaughter Araeah was her pride and joy. She lived for that little girl. She always had a soft spot for children and adored her nieces too. She often would take them to spend time with her, not returning until their parents (her sisters) said it was time.
In addition for the deep love she had for her family, Shanda was a Godly woman whom loved going to church. She was very faithful, and enjoyed singing and the music along with the community. She was always reading her woman's Bible.
Shanda is survived by her children, Desirae Deane and Cameron Rogers, her granddaughter Araeah; her siblings Jeannie Payne, Buddy Campbell, Regina Campbell, Chasity Russell, and Jamie Williams; the father of her son Stephen Rogers; Thelma Scruggs, who was like a second mother to her; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Shanda is preceded in passing by her daughter Whitney, whom passed in '12; her mother Kathy Campbell; and her grandmother Flora Davis.
A Celebration of life will be at House of Victory Church, from 1 PM - 3 PM, on February 15, 2020.
