Scott Anthony Williamson, 63, of Indianapolis, passed away on April 16, 2025.
Scott was born on August 12, 1961, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to Gerald Neil and Mary Theresa (Cavanaugh) Williamson. He was a talented welder with an incredible work ethic—he truly loved what he did and gave it his all every day. Scott was sharp and curious, even teaching himself sign language to better connect with his nephew.
Family meant the world to Scott. He loved his siblings and his many nieces and nephews, and he had a special bond with each of them. His brother John always said he was grateful they had the chance to reconnect later in life and become close friends. That relationship meant so much to them both.
He had a big heart, especially for animals. Scott had a soft spot for them and was always kind and gentle with every creature, big or small.
While Scott will be missed beyond words, we can take comfort in knowing he’s now at peace, reunited with those who went before him.
He is survived by his siblings Charlie Welhoelter, Joe Welhoelter, Mary Hays, and John Williamson; his aunt Marylynn; several nieces and nephews; and many dear friends.
Scott is preceded in passing by his parents G. N. and Mary Williamson, and his brother Eric Welhoelter.
