Scott Alan Pierce

Scott Alan Pierce, 47, of Indianapolis, passed away on March 20, 2025.

Scott was born on June 11, 1977, in Indianapolis to Jerry Keith and Brenda (Cox) Pierce. He had a huge heart and a soft spot for dogs. He was always happy to help others and had a tight bond with his nephews—he’d proudly tell anyone they were his best friends.

Scott loved a good comedy and had a thing for collecting knives and phone cases. Family was everything to him. He’d call or text daily just to check in, and if you reached out first, you could bet he’d get back to you right away. He liked knowing what was going on and would often hang out in his sister’s room just to watch the world through her window.

Scott was a sweet soul who will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his siblings, Stephanie and Keith; nephews, Jonah and Mikah Moore; stepmother, Sharon Pierce; cousins, Tracy Collins, Jennifer Pierce, Bryan Pierce, Tony Sims, and Christopher Sims; and great-niece, Raelynn.

Scott was preceded in passing by his parents, Jerry and Brenda Pierce.
