In Loving Memory of
Scott Michael Dean, 51, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes at his home in Indianapolis, Indiana, on March 3, 2026. He was born on June 17, 1974, in Aurora, Illinois.
Scott is survived by his beloved son, Parker James Dean; his father, Anthony Karl Dean of Elgin, Illinois; his sister, Amanda Marie Kluesner of Rockford, Illinois; and his stepmother, Paula Nariss Dean. He is also survived by his uncles, Frederick Dean and Natty Bumppo (née Jonathon Dean), both of Brownsville, Kentucky, and David DeMuth of Highland, Indiana.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Peggy DeMuth Dean, and his uncle, William DeMuth.
Scott was a graduate of Brownsville High School and spent many years working in the fast-food industry. He was known as a warm-hearted and generous person who left a lasting impression on those who knew him. Many friends have shared their sorrow at his passing and remember him fondly for his kindness and the genuine care he showed to others. Above all, Scott will be remembered for his deep love and dedication to his son, Parker.
Funeral services will be held on March 14, 2026, at Fountain Square Cremation Services in Indianapolis, Indiana. Family and friends are welcome to visit from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM (EST), with the service honoring his life beginning at 1:00 PM
