Roy Harold Curtis Jr, known fondly as "Booner" 54, was born in Indianapolis on September 2, 1967 to Evelyn (Leath) and Roy Curtis Sr. Roy departed from this life on August 25 2022.
He was a carpenter/handyman for many year's. He loved fishing, camping, reading, and helping other people. He loved the Indy 500! He grew up in Eagledale and there was hardly a year he missed being at the track. He was a cut up!! His mom would laugh when watching the Ernest movies and say the movies reminded her of him. He was a one of a kind! At one point, had a pet racoon that he carried around on his shoulders. To know Roy was to love Roy and he will be greatly missed.
Roy is survived by is wife-Dana Orange Curis, Mom- Evelyn Leath,Stepdad- Paul Leath, Sister-Marsha Mora, Sister-Tammy Aultman, Sister-Tonya Curtis, Sister-Dawn Curtis and Brother Jack Curtis along with several nieces and nephews
Roy is proceeded in passing by his father, Roy H Curtis Sr, His brother Steve Curtis and Sister Debbie Wagers and a nephew Adrian Highsaw, whom he loved to fish the white river with.
