Robert "Bob" Lynn Peed

Robert "Bob" Lynn Peed, of  Indianapolis, passed away on June 19, 2023.

Born in Indianapolis, IN on August 19, 1961, to Russell and Beaulah (Conn) Peed. Bob had a deep appreciation for music, finding solace and joy in its melodies. Playing the guitar and listening to his favorite tunes brought him immense happiness, especially with his family band PMI. His love for music was a source of comfort and expression, and he shared this passion with those around him, creating cherished moments of connection and enjoyment.

In his leisure time, Bob enjoyed playing pool, engaging in friendly competition while showcasing his skill. Whether it was a casual game among friends or a more serious match, his love for the game was evident in every stroke.

A hard worker at heart, Bob approached life with determination and dedication. His commitment to his responsibilities and his strong work ethic were admirable traits that defined him.

Bob's greatest joy came from spending time with his beloved grandkids and friends. They brought light and laughter into his life, creating cherished memories and moments of pure happiness. His love and care for his grandchildren were boundless, and his presence in their lives will forever be remembered and treasured.

Bob held a deep and unwavering faith in God, despite not being a regular churchgoer. His belief in a higher power was a significant aspect of his life and provided him with strength, comfort, and guidance. Even without the confines of a formal religious setting, Bob's faith remained strong, serving as a source of inspiration and a guiding force in his actions and decisions.

Bob is survived by his children, Robert "Bobby" Dillinger and Tausha (Michael) Magrum, and his grandchildren, Caden Magrum, Kayla Dillinger, and Robert "Bobby" Coomer; his siblings, Randy Peed, Raymond Peed, Ronald Peed, Rodney Peed, and Connie Dillinger; his girlfriend Sharon Woodruff; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

He is preceded in passing by his parents, Russell and Beaulah Peed; his wife Vicki (Phillips) Peed; and his brothers, Russell Peed Jr and Richard Peed.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 27, 2023, at 3 PM at Fountain Square Cremation & Funeral Services. Prior to the service, visitation will be held from 1 PM until the hour of service, providing an opportunity for loved ones to pay their respects.
