Robert E (Red) Wilkerson

Robert E. (Red) Wilkerson, 86, of Beech Grove passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2020.

Red was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on January 5, 1934 to the late Virgil Walter Wilkerson and Lucille Wilkerson.

Red is survived by his wife, Alice Wilkerson.

Red is survived by daughters, Linda Shaffer, Terri Wilkerson (Kelvin), Sharen Wilkerson (Randy); grandchildren, Diane, Nicholas, Kelly, Desiree, William, Sarah, Laura and Joe; brother, Jim Wilkerson and 10 great grandchildren.

Red is preceded in death by brothers, Walter Wilkerson and Donald Wilkerson.

He worked as a guard for the Loomis Armored Car Company.

Red served the country faithfully in the United States Marine Corps.

Funeral services celebrating his life will be held at Fountain Square Cremation and Funeral Services on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at 4:00 PM.  Family and friends are welcome to visit from 1:00 PM until the hour of the service at the funeral home.
