Robert Thompson

Robert "Big Bee" A Thompson, 57, of Indianapolis, passed away on Sunday, May 23, 2021.

He was born in Indianapolis, IN on January 8, 1964 to Robert and Grace Thompson.  Robert helped countless people throughout his time here with us, never seeking anything in return, just wanting to better the lives of those around him. Robert loved his family very much, to him nothing was more important. He also had a love for motorcycles and always looked forward to his yearly trip to Sturgis with his friends. Robert was the ideal entrepreneur; he dabbled in many different adventures including owning Two Little Bees. Saying he was a great friend is an understatement, he meant so much to so many people.

Robert is survived by his wife, Linda, of 37 years. Together they built a beautiful family of 6 children, David Thompson, Rachel (Chris) Waltz, Nichole (Mark) Newton, Megan (Nathan) Hollensteiner, and Roberta Thompson and 9 grandchildren, Thomas, Caitlyn, Lilly, Payton (Pete), Jason, Payton, Deacon, Adalyn, and Ellie.  He is also survived by his brother Michael Thompson and sister Lisa Vermillion.

Robert is preceded in passing by his parents Robert and Grace Thompson, son James Thompson, and sisters Sharon and Theresa Thompson.

Funeral Services will be 11 AM, Thursday, May 27, 2021 at Fountain Square Cremation & Funeral Services located at 1420 Prospect Street Indianapolis, IN, 46203. Visitation will be from 4-8 PM on Wednesday, May 26, 2021.  Burial will follow Thursday's services at New Crown Cemetery.
