Robert Eugene Scott

Robert Eugene Scott, 71, of Indianapolis passed away on December 6, 2025, at his residence.  Robert was born on April 21, 1954, in Greencastle, IN to Gene Tunney and Delores Kay (Mendenhall) Scott.  He was a veteran of both the United States Navy and the Army, having served faithfully in both branches of the service.  He was a member of the Veteran’s of Foreign War Post No. 1120.  Robert had been a truck driver for Estes.  In his free time, he loved cookouts with family and friends, and rocking out to 104.5 FM.  More than anything, he liked to make his wife happy.

Robert is survived by his wife, Kella (Brown) Scott; stepsons: Daniel Lacy and Colin Hibner; granddaughters: Lilly, Sadie and Braylie; best and lifelong friends, Bill Wallace and Fred Searcy.  He is preceded in death by his parents and stepson, Jeremy Lacy.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at Fountain Square Cremation and Funeral Service, 1420 Prospect Street.  Burial with military honors will follow the service in Concordia Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until the time of the service Thursday at the funeral home.
