Robert C. Lochard

Robert Clarence Lochard, Sr., 89, of Indianapolis, passed away August 27, 2026.

He was born September 28, 1936, to the late Irvin C. & Ida M. (Thorpe) Lochard. Robert was a journeyman bookbinder for numerous years. He was a Veteran of the US Navy, having served in the Korean War, and proud of his service.

Robert is survived by his wife of 68 years, Barbara (Garrett) Lochard; children, Kimberly Lochard and Robert Lochard, Jr.; grandchildren, James, Crystal, Amanda, Shannon, Michael, Angie, Benjamin, Joseph, and Amber; great grandchildren, Brayden, Landon, Alexis, Jack, Reece, Jordan, Brandon, Stephanie, Leah, Dylan, Danni, Dalton, and Ruby; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by several siblings; his son, James Lochard.
