Richard E. Dell

Richard E. Dell, age 73, of Washington, IN passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2024. He was born August 4, 1951, in Garden City, Michigan to William (Sr.) and Ollie Louise (McCormick) Dell.

Richard grew up in the metro Detroit area. In his adult years, he lived in Toledo, OH and Tipton, IN. He was a licensed Journeyman plumber and mason. Richard found his peace in his connection to nature. He had a profound love and passion for Horticulture, music, ice fishing and morel mushroom hunting.

Richard is survived by his 2 children, Brian Dell and Brooke Dell, his three Siblings; William Dell Jr., Thelma (Levi) Cox and Janet (Manuel) Hernandez; His 7 grandchildren, Rion, Thomas, Timothy, Nathan, Jasmine, John, and Hannah, and a multitude of great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Richard is preceded in passing by his parents; William Dell Sr. and Ollie Louise (McCormick) Dell; his son Justin Love, and his sister, Lola Thomas.

A private memorial will be held in Indiana for family, followed by a private graveside farewell in Livonia, MI.
