Raymond “Ray” Francis Harvey, 66, of Indianapolis, passed away on September 9, 2023.
Raymond "Ray" Francis Harvey was born in Cincinnati, OH, on May 23, 1957, to Raymond Rudolph and Edna Louise (Bell) Harvey. Ray, known for his super-friendly nature, believed that everyone he met was a potential friend. He exuded kindness and had a heart that was as sweet as it was generous. Throughout his life, Ray cherished the simple pleasures, doting on his baby brother Robert and finding joy in a cold Pepsi and his unwavering support for the Dallas Cowboys.
Ray's friendly disposition touched the lives of many, and he leaves behind a legacy of warmth and positivity. His siblings, Gary Miller, April Harvey, Daisy Alte, Sheila Brooks, and William Harvey, will forever hold the memories of their beloved brother close to their hearts. Ray was not just a sibling but a dear friend to each of them.
Ray's caregiver, Ramon Reyes, played a significant role in his life, providing the care and companionship that allowed Ray to live life to the fullest. Ray's extended family includes numerous nieces and nephews, all of whom were fortunate to have been part of his life.
Ray is preceded in passing by his parents, Raymond Rudolph and Edna Louise Harvey, and his brother Robert Harvey. Though he is no longer with us in body, his spirit and the fond memories we shared with him will endure in our hearts forever.
Ray's optimism, friendly demeanor, and love for life were infectious. He taught us the value of seeing the good in everyone and cherishing the simple joys that surround us. As we mourn his loss, let us also celebrate the love, warmth, and positivity he brought into our lives.
