Ray Allen Spencer

Ray Allen Spencer, 71, of Indianapolis, formerly of Orange County, California, passed away on Friday, March 24, 2023.

Ray was born in Orange County, CA on October 28, 1951 to Kenneth and Reva Ethel (Reams) Spencer.  Ray was a hard worker, he would move heaven and earth for his family.  He was funny, but was really good at pushing buttons, then getting you laughing again.  He enjoyed relaxing with his Bud and a shot of vodka, and don't forget his cigarettes.  He loved his Westerns and his morning cup of black coffee.  Although he could be gruff, Ray was the kind of man who would give his shirt off his back if you needed it. He cared for those around him, especially his family.  He will be missed.

Ray is survived by his children Jason (Angie), Angel, Tresa, Lisa, and DJ; his grandchildren Hailee, Tyler, Alexia, Michael, Brooklyn, Destiny, Brandon, Khaidyn, Brailyn, Isiah, and many others; 4 sisters; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Ray is preceded in passing by his wife Evelyn Spencer and his parents Kenneth and Reva Spencer.

Services for Ray will be 7 PM, Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at Fountain Square Cremation & Funeral Services. Visitation will be from 3 PM until the hour of service.
