Randy Allen Sylvia

Randy Allen Sylvia, 59, of Indianapolis, passed away on April 12, 2023.

Randy was born in Indianapolis, IN on May 6, 1963 to Harland Dwayne and Doris Ann (Pagel) Long. Randy was a beautiful soul.  He had a big heart and loved to help people.  He was the type of man who would give his last $50 if you needed it.  His natural state was happy, and he tried to make others happy.  Randy was always trying to get people to laugh.  He was great with kids and very outgoing.  Randy liked staying busy.  He was always walking and always on the go.  He will be missed.

Randy is survived by his siblings Benny Hoppes, Mike Sylvia, and Tonya Hartsell; step-sister Tammy Culvahouse; his aunt Linda (Gary) Keener; close friends Tammy (Joe) Bowland; many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Randy is preceded in passing by his parents Harland and Doris Long; and his siblings Billy Sylvia, Patrick Sylvia, Reba Sylvia, and Shely Mays.

Services for Randy will be 4 PM, Saturday, April 22, 2023 at Fountain Square Cremation & Funeral Services. Visitation will be from 1 PM until the hour of service.
