Paul Winston Parks Jr, born on January 5, 1968, passed away on June 13, 2023. He was born to the late Paul Winston Parks Sr and Mary Landcaster. Paul was a loyal individual who proudly served in the 101st Airborne US Army, where he developed a passion for parachuting and jumping out of airplanes.
Paul had a special bond with his beloved dog, Fred, who was his constant companion and best friend. His ornery nature added a unique spark to his personality, bringing laughter and joy to those around him. Stovetop stuffing held a special place in his heart, and he enjoyed it as a favorite dish, savoring its flavors each day.
Music was a source of inspiration and enjoyment for Paul, and he possessed a keen intellect that allowed him to appreciate its depth and beauty. He had a loving and giving nature, particularly towards his baby sister and his family. His affection and generosity were evident in his actions, always making sure to extend a helping hand when needed.
Paul leaves behind a void that will be deeply felt by those closest to him. He is survived by his siblings, Paula (Parks) Reed, DeeDee Parks, Stephanie Skinner, Steven Skinner, and Spencer Brandenburg; his nieces and nephews Tyler Bruhn, Danielle (Bruhn) Tackett, Samantha and Christopher Bennett, and Nick Redd; the girls he was a father figure to, Angel Bundy, Jamie Bundy, and Harley Bundy; and their mother, Jackie Bundy.
He was preceded in passing by his parents, Paul Winston Parks Sr and Mary Landcaster. The impact of his presence and the memories he created will forever hold a special place in the hearts of those who knew him best.
In honoring Paul's life, let us cherish the love and joy he shared, and may his spirit guide us to be kind, giving, and adventurous. He will be deeply missed, and his memory will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A Memorial Service for Paul will be 5 PM, Saturday, July 8, 2023 at Fountain Square Cremation & Funeral Services. Visitation will be from 2 PM until the hour of service.
