Patricia Lynn Perusquia, 50, passed away on August 11, 2023, leaving a legacy of love and cherished memories. Born on May 26, 1973, she was the beloved daughter of Charles Saunders and Janis Henry.
Patricia's life was a tapestry woven with dedication, humor, and kindness. Known for her strong work ethic, she approached life with a determination that inspired those around her. Her infectious laughter and outgoing nature made her the life of every gathering—a bright spark that illuminated every room she entered.
A heart full of compassion and an innate kindness defined Patricia's character. While she was shy and reserved, her selflessness knew no bounds. She was a friend to all who had the privilege of knowing her, and her ability to brighten lives with her friendly demeanor was truly remarkable.
Patricia found joy in life's simple pleasures, often laughing wholeheartedly and embracing the moments that brought happiness. Her love for butterflies and devotion to Our Lady of Guadalupe reflected her spiritual connection and the beauty she found in both nature and faith.
Above all, Patricia's heart belonged to her family. She was a devoted mother, nurturing and caring for her children, Kalee Everage, Tre Hudson, Alisiana Vasquez-Hudson, and Destiny Everage. Her role as a grandmother brought her immense joy, and she adored her nine precious grandchildren: Malea, Aubree, Paris, Jayden, Legacy, Aaliyah, Ka'Maree, Blaire, and Rhyland.
Patricia's memory is carried forward by her mother, Janis Henry, and her brother, Charles Saunders. Her best friend, Carrie Limeberry, shared in her journey, offering unwavering companionship and support. While Patricia's father, Charles Saunders, precedes her in passing, his spirit lives on in the love they shared.
A service to celebrate Patricia's life will be held on Friday, August 25, 2023, from 2-4 PM at Fountain Square Cremation & Funeral Services. As we come together to honor Patricia's memory, let us remember her laughter, her kindness, and her selflessness. Her legacy serves as a reminder of the impact one person can have on the lives of many.
Rest in peace, dear Patricia, knowing that your love lives on in the hearts of all who were fortunate to have known you.
