Patricia “Patty” Anne Irving, 59, of Indianapolis, passed away on February 12, 2025.
Born and raised in Indianapolis, Patty had a heart full of kindness and a faith that never wavered. She read her Bible daily, taking notes and reflecting on its words. She was the kind of person who would give you the shirt off her back without a second thought.
Patty loved her Bingo scratchers—especially the ones with the cherries—and never passed up a chance to play a good game of BINGO. But where she really shined was in the kitchen. Her cabbage rolls were legendary—so good they could convert even the biggest skeptic. They weren’t just food; they were tradition, bringing family together for years.
Above all, Patty was devoted to her family. She loved her children fiercely and adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Taking care of them was her greatest joy, and she always made sure they felt loved and supported.
She is survived by her four children, ten grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, two sisters, and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
She is preceded in passing by her parents and her sister, Cindy.
