Nickey Lee Emler

Nickey Lee Emler, 62, of Indianapolis, formerly of Somertown, TN, passed away on Saturday, January 2, 2021.

Nickey was born in Somertown, TN on February 4, 1958 to Oval Jr and Gladys (Zimmerman) Emler.  After graduating High School he joined the Army.  Once that part of his life was over he became a framer, in construction.  He loved his family more than anything and his greatest joy was telling his grandchildren stories. 

Nickey is survived by his wife, Jennifer Emler; his children Bethany (Brandon) Shelton, Justin (Melynda) Emler, and Brittany (Homer Scruggs) Emler; his grandchildren Jacob, Kyle, Skyler, Terinna, Caden, Damion, Alexia, Devin, Gavin, Madysun, Dominick, and Brielle; great-grandchild Karter Lee Emler; and his life-long best friend James "Fuzzy" Henson.

Nickey is preceded in passing by his parents, Oval Jr and Gladys Emler. 

Funeral Services for Nickey will be 5 PM, Friday, January 8, 2021 at Fountain Square Cremation & Funeral Services. Visitation will be from 2 PM until the hour of service.
