Monnie Carr Jr

Monnie Joe Carr Jr, 33, of Indianapolis, passed away on January 3, 2021.

Monnie was born in Indianapolis, IN on June 26, 1987 to Monnie Sr and Denise Lynn Carr.  Monnie had a way about him, a big personality that whatever the gathering was, he was the life of the party, the jokester.  He had a gift for cheering people up and making everyone smile.  He may have had his demons, but he always tried his best, regardless of the circumstances.  

The greatest love of his life was his family, and of them, his daughters.  They were his entire world, the apples of his eyes.  Monnie did everything for them, wanted the best for them.  His family was so important to him, and he was the glue that held them all together.

Monnie is survived by his daughters Relynn and Milah; his father Monnie Sr (Vanessa) Carr; his mother Denise (Jim Gann) Carr; his fiance Patty; his siblings Michael (Kayla) Strandberg, Stevie (Nicole) Strandberg, Kasey Carr, Juel (Nick) Lange, Nina Strandberg, Adam Roche, Christopher Hendricks, and Robert Deaton; number uncles including his Uncle Micke Strandberg; numerous aunts including his Aunt Tracy Appleby; his godparents Billy and Pam Robbins; numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Monnie is preceded in passing by his brother Marshal Carr and his sister Betty Strandberg. 

Funeral Services for Monnie Jr will be 7 PM, Saturday, January 9, 2021 at Fountain Square Cremation & Funeral Services. Visitation will be from 5 PM until the hour of service.
