Michelle "Shell" "Sister Bear" Ruth (Davis) Tillberry, 51, on February 20, 2021, was granted her Angel Wings, putting her at her mother "Mama Bear"'s side.
Shell was born in Indianapolis, IN on March 5, 1969 to Darlene Rose Gearlds and Randall Lee Davis. Shell was good-hearted, very giving of herself and her time. She seemed to always put others ahead of herself. She devoted much of her time and energy as a care-giver to many. She was strong, she had many medical issues, but she always made it; she was a true warrior.
As the oldest sister she earned the nickname "Sister Bear", since she was fiercely protective of her younger sisters and mothered them a lot. She called herself "Concrete Angel" but don't be fooled, she was spunky and could be wild and crazy when the mood struck. Shell had the most giving, strongest love for her nieces and nephews, and adored her great-nieces. She doted on those babies as much as she could.
Shell is survived by her husband Wilber Tillberry; her father Randall Davis and her step-mother Jenny; her grandmother Yvonne Gearlds; her sisters Brenda Lee Davis (Earl TIllberry), Veronica Rose Purvis (George), and Danielle Rene Ducksworth; niblings Robert, Alannah, Manuel, Aaron, Kaylee, Taylor, Denny, and Zach; great-nieces Alicea, Caliana, A'Leeyah, and Brynleigh; and many wonderful friends including Don, Jim, Michelle, Gary, and Kenny.
