Michelle Lynn Dearing

Michelle Lynn Dearing, 40, of Indianapolis, passed away on September 20, 2022.

Michelle was born in Indianapolis, IN on June 23, 1982 to Michael Dearing and Melinda (Matthew) Welch.

Michelle was one of a kind.  She was the realest, most genuine person you could meet.  She was simply always herself, and did not care if other people were okay with that or not.  Michelle was a spitfire and brimming with life, a quality that spilled over to those fortunate enough to be around her.  She was protective of those she cared for and would always go to bat for those she loved, regardless if they were right or not. They'd sort that out later.  She was very loving and caring underneath her edges, and you could not ask for a better person to have in your corner.  Michelle was fun loving and you never knew what to expect. She loved listening to music and her taste was eclectic, anything from Madonna to country, to hiphop likely to come on. 

Michelle was a rock to the family, she was always there and always steady.  Her niece Lydia was her heart, she spent every moment she could with her.  She had a strong faith, and although she will be greatly missed, at least she is safely home in Heaven.

Michelle is survived by her mother Melinda Welch; her siblings Brandie (Aaron), Mindy (Josh Jordan), Jennifer, Tina, Jeremy, Matthew, Jessica, and Marissa (Brian); her nieces and nephews Debbie (Steve), Jessica, Jullian, Jaylee, Isabelle, Maddie, Beto, Gianna, Drenon, and Lydia; her aunt Ruby; and her best friend David Young.

Michelle is preceded in passing by her father Michael Dearing; her aunt Verne; her wife Buffy; her grandparents; and 2 cousins.
