Michelle Marie Brummett

Michelle Marie Brummett, 45, of Indianapolis, passed away on June 20, 2025.

Michelle was born in Indianapolis, IN, on January 18, 1980, to David Eugene Cravens and Linda Sue Brummett. She was truly one of a kind. Michelle had a natural gift for comedy—she could make anyone laugh, whether it was with her outrageous stories, silly faces, or off-the-wall comments. She had the makings of a great comedian if not for her stage fright.

She loved taking pictures and was always snapping selfies, especially with the people she loved most. Michelle was fiercely loyal: she was the kind of friend who stuck by you, always there with a joke, a hug, or a helping hand. She adored her family and valued every moment spent with them. She had a giving heart and was always ready to lend a hand to anyone in need. But if you crossed her, you’d know it—Michelle didn’t hold back.

She was a sweet, hilarious, and kind-hearted woman who left us far too soon. Her presence and laughter will be missed every single day.

Michelle is survived by her children Raelin Brummett and Austin Brummett; her mother Linda Brummett; siblings Heather Brummett and David Cravens; life partner of over 22 years, James Traylor; stepmother Leslie Hurst; nieces and nephews Jewel, Jaylon, Jade, Jayda, Jenee', Jomel, and Kia; great-nieces and nephews Liam, Elliana, and Nelle; many extended family members and countless friends.

She is preceded in passing by her father, David Cravens.
