Michael "Mike" Alte, 51, of Indianapolis, passed away on Monday, December 13, 2021.

Mike was born in Indianapolis, IN on February 12, 1970 to Dallas Victor and Frances (Armstrong) Alte. Mike was an avid Colts fan and loved going to the Speedrome.  He enjoyed fishing and hunting when he was younger.  He liked playing cards and spending quality time with his family. Mike was the sort who never met a stranger.  He was a talker, and a jokester.  He was forever making people laugh.  He played Farmville, now called Hayday with his brother Dallas.  Mike was a good guy with a big heart.  He loved his kids and all his nieces and nephews.

Mike is survived by his wife Tonya, whom he's been with for 29 years, married for 21 of them; his children Kellie and Andrew; his mom Janice; his siblings Dallas (Daisy), Vicky, Susan, Debbie, Danny (Kim), and Trish (Roger); his sister-in-law Ally (Ethan); his mother-in-law Doris; and his dogs Ruby, Chole, and Lil Bit, whom were his babies.

Mike is preceded in passing by his dad Dallas Alte; his mother Frances Armstrong; his brother Charlie; and his dog Princess.

Services for Mike will be 3 PM, Friday, December 17, 2021 at Fountain Square Cremation & Funeral Services. Visitation will be from 1 PM until the hour of service.
