Michael Phillips

Michael Phillips, 38, of Indianapolis, passed away on January 20, 2022, peacefully at home with his loved ones.

Michael was born on October 30, 1983 to Ricky Allen Sr and Susan (Hicks) Phillips.  He worked hard to become an HVAC tech and enjoyed what he did before his health took a turn. He had a very strong work ethic.  He enjoyed fishing and gaming, especially with his cousin Brandon, whom he was thick as thieves with.  Family was the most important thing in the world to Michael and the light of his life was his daughter Lilly.  He doted on her, she was his pride and joy. and spending time with her was precious to him.  Michael was loving and considerate, the type of person to always make sure everyone around him was ok.  

Michael is survived by the light of his life Lilly Bug, his daughter Lilly Marie Phillips; his son Damien Hines; his parents Ricky and Susan Phillips; his brother Ricky Jr; his nephews Kaleb and Skylar; his aunt Amy Hicks; his cousins Brandon, Allie, Chelsea, Daysha, Emily, David, and Zoe; his aunt Judy; his uncle Dennis; his grandfather Raymond Phillips; and many friends. 

Michael is preceded in passing by his grandmother Jo Marie Phillips; and his grandparents Tommy and Patricia Hicks.

Services for Michael will be 6 PM, Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at Fountain Square Cremation & Funeral Services. Visitation will be from 3-6 PM at the funeral home.
