Michael G. Covington, Sr.

Michael G. Covington, Sr., went home to be with his Lord on Wednesday, August 26, 2026.

He was born November 9, 1951, in Indianapolis, to the late, Arthur & Rosie (Brown) Covington.

Michael was the business owner of Kingdom Systems where he remodeled homes and worked on cars. He graduated from high school, attended college, and he knew the law and court systems very well. He was a devoted member of Grace Memorial Baptist Church.

Michael is survived by ex-wife Rosemary Covington; his children, Michael Covington Jr., and Alexandria Covington; grandchildren, India Covington, Makayla Covington, Myesha Covington, Mikeisha Covington, Michael Covington III, and Deandre White; 11 Great grandchildren; and a host of cousins, nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Hazel Covington; and three sisters Joyce, Ellen and Dolly.

A Celebration of Life will be held to honor Michael on 1:00pm Saturday, September 5, at Fountain Square Cremation & Funeral Services, with visitation from 11:00 AM until the time of services.
