Melvin Hemphill Obituary

Melvin Ray Hemphilll, 69, of Indianapolis, passed away on June 8, 2021.

Melvin was born in Indianapolis, IN on November 2, 1951. Melvin was a lovely person with a heart of gold. He was compassionate and caring, and THE Cat man. He fed all the neighborhood cats, at one time was around 30 of them. He was a religious man with a strong faith. One of his best memories was his trip to Louisville Temple where he was able to attend a religious service to make covenants with God.

Melvin is survived by his daughter Rosie; his best friends Cathleen & Phillip Hodson; and numerous church friends.

A private service for Melvin will be held at his daughters discretion.
