Mary Lou (Walton) Smith

Mary Lou Smith, 78, of Indianapolis, formerly of Elwood, IN, passed away on April 8, 2021.

Mary was born in Elwood, IN on February 18, 1943 to Bruce Walton and Evelyn Flossie (LaShure) Morrow. She was a homemaker who dedicated her life to her family. She was the heart of the family, tough as nails with a kind heart and loving and caring.  She was a Christian woman who was a member of the House of Prayer. 

Mary is survived by her daughters Brandy Lee Oliver, Sue Ann Fields, Sherry Lee Presley (Eric), and Shelia Kay Smith; her sons Mark Allan Smith, James Dean Smith, Timmy Allan Smith, and Jeff Smith; her brother Ellis Morrow; her sister Beverly Ann Sparks; 15 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Mary is preceded in passing by her mother Evelyn Morrow; her father Bruce Walton; and her son Danny Smith.

Mary's services will be 3 PM, Saturday, April 17, 2021 at Fountain Square Cremation & Funeral Services.  Visitation will be from 12 PM until the hour of service.
