Markita Lynn Fitzpatrick, 55, of Indianapolis, passed away on October 6, 2021.
Markita was born on February 24, 1966 to Beverly (Vaughn) Rose. She was a homemaker in every since of the word. She adored her dogs, kept rats, and had a soft spot for all animals. She devoted her life to taking care of her kids and her home. She was the MacGyver of crafts and home projects, she could make or fix anything. Markita was especially talented at woodworking. She loved cleaning and kept her space neat, and when her place didn't need cleaning, she would go through all her children's houses to clean for them.
Markita was a spiritual person, she loved and felt the interconnectivity of all things. She loved crystals and Astrology, always ready to advise based on your horoscope. She often watched the History Channel and loved all the different perspectives about the world around us. Markita was a big fan of the paranormal and that there was something after this plane of existence.
Markita is survived by her children Ginger, Rolland, Ian, Arianna, Brian, and Tori; her grandchildren Alyson, Nadea, Amiah, Matthew, Travis, Anthony, Aliana, Zayda, Zayden, Paige, Killian, Brielle, Jalaya, and Meila; and 9 granddogs.
Markita is preceded in passing by her mom, Beverly Rose and her beloved English Bulldog Mix, Dutch.
Services for Markita will be 7 PM, Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at Fountain Square Cremation & Funeral Services. Visitation will be from 3 PM until the hour of service.
