Malcolm Kent, III Obituary

Malcolm Edward Kent III passed away on September 16, 2026. His passing came far too soon, leaving behind his family, friends, and loved ones to mourn his loss and cherish the many memories they shared with him.

Malcolm was a beloved father, son, brother, and friend. He was someone who loved being around people and could often be found making others laugh or finding a way to be the center of attention. He had a big personality, an adventurous spirit, and was always looking for the next thrill or something new to experience.

Malcolm enjoyed working in construction and was someone who liked working with his hands. He loved working on cars, drawing, writing poetry, working out, and shooting pool. He also enjoyed karaoke and wasn’t afraid to grab the microphone and entertain a room. Whether he was making someone laugh, spending time with friends, or simply enjoying the things he loved, Malcolm knew how to make his presence known.

More than anything, Malcolm enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his children. His children were an incredibly important part of his life, and the memories they made with their dad will remain with them forever.

Malcolm’s faith was also an important part of his life. In 2020, he began attending Faith Baptist Church, where he continued to grow in his relationship with Christ. On May 8, 2022, Malcolm made the meaningful decision to be baptized, publicly expressing his faith and commitment to Jesus Christ. His family finds great comfort in knowing that Malcolm had placed his faith in Christ and that he is now at peace in his eternal home in Heaven.

Malcolm is survived by his four children, Kailib Kent, 25; Sydney Kent, 21; Summer Kent, 14; and Serenity Kent, 7; the mother of his children, Chelsea Kent; his mother, Pamela Kent; and his sister, Michelle (Kent) Doll. He also leaves behind extended family members, many friends, and others who had the opportunity to know and love him.

Malcolm’s greatest legacy will live on through his children. His sense of humor, creativity, adventurous personality, and ability to make people laugh are just a few of the things those closest to him will remember.

Although his life ended far too soon, the impact Malcolm made and the memories he created will continue through the people who loved him. His family and friends will remember the laughter, the stories, the good times, and all of the little things that made Malcolm who he was.

Malcolm will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
