Lonnie Shows, 72, passed away on September 6, 2024. He was born on February 14, 1952, in Collins, Mississippi, to Lona and Virginia Shows. Lonnie worked as a construction worker and heavy machine operator, dedicating his life to building and supporting his community.

A man of few words, Lonnie was known for his quiet strength. He enjoyed playing guitar, working with his hands, and fixing things around the house. Above all, he loved his sons, Joshua and Benjamin Shows, and was proud of the men they became.

Lonnie is survived by his sons, Joshua and Benjamin. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lona and Virginia.
